At Nordic Recovery we recommend 5-10 minutes of exposure on the front and back side of the body. Never exceed 20 minutes in the total time of one session.

Red-light therapy and Infrared both work by utilizing different spectrums of red-light wavelengths to produce a desired effect on the body. Red-light Therapy is a shorter magnitude of red-light wavelengths and is better used for cellular regeneration, skin-health and reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression.

Direct skin exposure to the panels will allow for more penetration of the red-light into the body’s tissue. Although even if you choose to be fully clothed you are able to receive the benefits as well. Typical swimwear is more than enough skin exposure to receive the maximum benefits of treatment.

Typical recommendation for use is 10-20 minutes 5-7 days a week depending on desired outcome. Although one session is all you will need to notice the difference!
