  • It depends on the type and severity of the injury. Compression therapy can assist with improving the circulation allowing nutrient rich and oxygen rich blood into the injured area. If the sensation of the massage is discomforting than you should discontinue use.

  • A light layering of comfortable, dry and non-restrictive clothing. Air compression massage is designed to go over your clothes, while performing its purpose to activate the lymphatic system.

  • If you have an open wound, recent surgery (consult your physician), stints (consult your physician), or stitches.
    Anyone with cardiovascular disease or DVT please consult your physician before you begin to utilize this option.

  • At Nordic Recovery, we recommend 20-30 minutes, but sessions can vary in greater or lesser time if you are working on a specific outcome.
